ĢƵ’s New 3-College Model to Boost Opportunities for Innovation, Interdisciplinary Learning

Responding to changes in higher education, student needs and the ever-evolving workforce, ĢƵ recently reorganized its academic structure after a two-year planning process.
The university’s new three-college model is aimed at expanding opportunities for students in healthcare, analytics and STEM, while maintaining ĢƵ’s longstanding liberal arts tradition. Also offered are alternative educational pathways, including adult-learning programs and courses to earn specialized credentials.
The three colleges are Rosary College of Arts, Education, and Sciences; the College of Business, Information Studies, and Technology; and the Borra College of Health Sciences.
“The reorganization of academic programs and units under this new model enhances our ability to offer students innovative, interdisciplinary and enriching educational experiences,” said ĢƵ Provost Dr. Mia Hardy.
“It will also foster greater collaboration across disciplines, better align related academic programs, and streamline our organizational structure for enhanced synergies.”
